
OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description
Candidates should have earned an Associates degree in sales, marketing, or a technology-related field. Candidates must have knowledge of steam-producing boilers and boiler related equipment. Utility industry experience is a plus.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

Prospecting and generating new commercial business leads
-
Completing scheduled and cold calling prospecting activities to establish appointments with customer decision makers
-
Developing and maintaining relationships with local architectural and engineering firms
-
Forming an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly
-
Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of ABCS’s services and pricing structure

Essential Duties
-
Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
-
Emphasize product features based on analysis of customer needs and on the technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
-
Select or assist customers in selecting products or services based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations
-
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations and follow-up with key decision makers
-
Answer customer questions concerning products, pricing, availability, or credit items
