Job Description

Candidates should have earned an Associates degree in sales, marketing, or a technology-related field. Candidates must have knowledge of steam-producing boilers and boiler related equipment. Utility industry experience is a plus.

Key Areas Of Responsibility 

  • Prospecting and generating new commercial business leads

  • Completing scheduled and cold calling prospecting activities to establish appointments with customer decision makers

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local architectural and engineering firms

  • Forming an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly

  • Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of ABCS’s services and pricing structure

Essential Duties 

  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business

  • Emphasize product features based on analysis of customer needs and on the technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations 

  • Select or assist customers in selecting products or services based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations and follow-up with key decision makers

  • Answer customer questions concerning products, pricing, availability, or credit items
